63 DELUXE - DEBUT ALBUM - Making a video is fun!

Welcome to the lead up, through and out the other end of our upcoming album!

Ok, this might be a slight diversion from the album but arguably just as much fun and just as creative.

(still from the "My Favourite Hurricane " video)

To coincide with the release of our songs we are creating some videos to go with most of them, apart form just being fun to create they add a

dimension to the songs.

Our budding photographer Ari Scott-Cowling has willingly taken on the role of band photographer and videographer as he grapples with learning the medium for possibly a future career pursuit. As with the music in our lives as musicians, it's all about creativity, whether its writing a song or creating video content it's just as much a part of being a creative within the arts.

Jack's drums were particularly photogenic (sorry, you are too Jack) and so much fun to capture. Here's Jack being shot by Ari (somewhere behind a light) and below is Jack being edited as part of the upcoming video for "My Favourite Hurricane". Also special thanks to Django and Glyn Lehmann for the use of the lighting and particularly Glyn for some awesome work on his original Hammond/Leslie rig.

As the inspiration takes us we will create videos that hopefully reflect the song. Turns out it's a bit like song writing itself, it comes easily or not and is only limited by your resources and imagination. I think the takeaway here is to just create, regardless of your resources, just create, it all flows from there.

For the record (pun intended) the video was shot using a Nikon 7z, a Sony 4K Eximor and edited in DaVinci Resolve 17

Here are some links to our conspirators, have a look;

Until next time ....
